Kung Fu 1.1

You are a "kung fu" master, and your girlfriend has been kidnapped by a rival gang. They have taken her hostage on the fifth floor of the clan's dojo. Your mission is to fight your way to the top floor, defeat the clan leader, and rescue your girlfriend. This will not be an easy battle. You will face skilled fighting masters, some of whom are armed with dangerous weapons and sidekicks. Defeat each minion to save your girlfriend and seek revenge on those who have wronged you.

Controls:

• A - punch
• B - kick
• UP - jump
• DOWN - crouch
• LEFT - move Thomas to the left
• RIGHT - move Thomas to the right
• SELECT - select game
• START - pause game
• UP + A - flying punch
• UP + B - flying front kick
• DOWN + A - crouched punch
• DOWN + B - crouched kick

By combining jumps and crouches with punches and kicks, you can extend Thomas's range of attacks. Certain enemies can only be hit with specific attacks, and the height of each attack varies. The crouched kick has the lowest attack range, while the jump kick has the highest. Punches yield more points per kill due to their shorter range and resistance to being thrown during battle. Kicks have greater range but award half as many points.

Characters:

• Thomas: A steely Kung Fu expert who has mastered powerful punches, sharp kicks, and well-timed jump kicks. The player must strategically choose which techniques to use and when.
• Sylvia: Captured by the mysterious gang "X," she is being held captive at the top of their castle. Sylvia eagerly awaits her rescue by Thomas.
• Stick Fighter: The first boss you will encounter in the game. This formidable opponent rapidly rotates a powerful stick around his body.
  Value: 2,000 points
• Boomerang Fighter: The second boss you will face. This adversary throws a boomerang at you with two varying patterns.
  Value: 3,000 points
• Giant: The third boss you will confront. A gigantic fighter who relies on brute strength to overcome your martial arts skills.
  Value: 3,000 points
• Black Magician: The fourth boss you will encounter. This individual can perform death-defying tricks and a variety of illusions.
  Value: 5,000 points
• Mr. X, the Gang Leader: The final boss you will face. He is the master of all martial arts and the strongest opponent in the castle. Your true nemesis and rival to overcome.
  Value: 10,000 points
• Gripper: One of the most common enemies encountered throughout the game. They will run up to you and attempt to grab hold of you, gradually lowering your life.
  Value: Kick = 100 points, Punch = 200 points, Jump Kick = 300 points
• Knife Thrower: A fairly uncommon enemy that tosses knives at you. They are usually dressed in blue clads.
  Value: Kick = 500 points, Punch = 800 points, Jump Kick = 1,000 points
• Tom Toms: Martial artist midgets that can attack by running up to you or performing aerial assaults.
  Value: Kick = 200 points, Punch = 300 points
• Dragon: These creatures drop from the ceiling and send out a flame of fire directly overhead. It is best to duck when this occurs.
  Value: Kick = 2,000 points, Punch = 2,000 points, Jump Kick = 2,000 points
• Confetti Ball: These devices drop from the ceiling and hover at a certain distance. After a while, they explode, releasing particles in specified directions.
  Value: Jump Kick = 1,000 points
• Snake: Poisonous snakes that are released from shattered jars. You can either avoid them or destroy them with a low kick before they burst from the jar.
  Value: Kick = 100 points
• Poisonous Moth: Dangerous creatures that fly in set patterns. They can be destroyed with flying attacks or simple punches/kicks.
  Value: Punch = 600 points, Kick = 500 points
